Wright County Egg of Galt, Iowa, is voluntarily recall certain date Julian eggs produced by their farm because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, the bacteria because the food. Eggs are packed in different packet size (six-egg boxes, cardboard egg carton of 18 dozen eggs) with Julian dates 136-225 and, number 1026 in 1413 and 1946 crops. And date code listed at the end of the egg carton. Number of plants begins with the letter P and then the number. Julian Date is the number of plants, for example: P-1946 223.
Consumers should remember that the correct storage, handling and cooking of eggs will help prevent foodborne illness.
